Last fall, I went to Kyoto and visited the Katsura Imperial Villa .

It was a designated day that I won in the lottery, so I went there aiming for that day. As a designer and architect, I wanted to see the Katsura Imperial Villa.

The time frame and the number of people are also specified within 10 people, but you can take your time and look around. Wabi-sabi, which was also discovered by Bruno Taut, is the essence of Japanese architecture that I have seen so far.

The explanation of the guide of the Imperial Household Agency is also polite and easy to understand. After the tour was over, we ate our lunch boxes around the Katsura River.

I tried to remember the past, thinking that it is an architecture rooted in a peaceful and good area.

I also drew a sketch.
